“Starling” – This is live audio performance and audio composition project using visual and audible stimulus from our daily environment as the basis for composition. This project explores the use of field recordings and visual imagery as a basis for musical interpretation.

Some of the recent works in Starling:

“Paper Bird” is an audio composition which uses the musical interpretation of birds in flight as the basis for a musical score.

“Soccer Score” uses the rhythm of kids playing football captured in a field recording as the basis of a musical score.
